Built in 1929 as the headquarters of the U.S. Rubber Company, this 7 story brick building in Tribeca was converted to condominiums in 1999. The ground floor unit was received completely "raw" with its original "mushroom" columns and 15' ceilings.
Configured and designed to be an industrial-style live/work loft with direct street access, this unit's interior improvements included: radiant heating throughout, acid-etched concrete floors, large chef's kitchen with custom poured concrete countertops, 3 bedroom/ offices, 3 bathrooms, and a steel mezzanine to provide additional floor area.
