This 7,000 sf duplex loft renovation had an unusual history as it originally held the running track and basketball court of a landmarked Y.M.C.A. The space’s original industrial vernacular was highlighted by the use of casement windows, blackened steel railings, and custom-poured concrete floor tiles.

The public spaces are located on the upper level and include a large open living/dining/kitchen area. A 29-foot-high double-height atrium with connecting stair is open to the lower level which houses the master-suite, two additional bedrooms, and a family room.
