Originally built in 1900, this stately Victorian was meticulously rebuilt and restored while bringing it up to the modern standards of today's technologically connected family. Intricate period details and fittings such as plasterwork, millwork, hardware, vintage sinks, doors, and brickwork were salvaged, restored or authentically recreated.

The floor plan was reconfigured to eliminate the extraneous interior walls which had created an awkward warren of small, dark rooms to create a bright, open plan. The living spaces, including the 5 bedrooms and 4.5 baths are now generously proportioned and naturally lit.

The building received a completely new infrastructure including plumbing and electrical systems and blown-in insulation while simultaneously ushered into the digital age with modern improvements such as automated and connected home security and audio systems, radiant heating, as well as CAT 6 wiring throughout. A new seismically sound concrete foundation was required to shore up the residence, which provided space for a new 2-car garage, additional storage, and a garden-level lower suite.
